2、磁场强度高，梯度大。采用挤压磁系结构可以使用磁筒表面的磁场强度达到1.0t，磁场梯度达到0.3t/mm.
3、磁性物回收率高。采用挤压磁系结构，在圆周上磁场变化不大，被磁场捕获的磁性颗粒将被磁筒直接带入接矿箱内，减少了在筒体表面翻转而造成的磁性物的流失，有利用磁性物的回收。
4、上部给矿。采用上部给矿方式，使物料直接给到筒皮表面，充分利用了磁场的作用力。
5、干式分选。物料经过分选之后可以进入下一段流程，无需进行过滤，烘干等作业。
6、分选粒度宽。该机可针对不同粒度的物料设计不同的磁系结构，分选粒度可以达到25mm以上。
